Open World 2019 focuses on American Universities and their Global Connections

CKSCP hosted an Open World Delegation in October that focused on the best practices of universities in the US and their global connections.  They wanted to know how global programs are structured and funded, how students and faculty access the programs, and what the impact has been on enrollment.  During their week in Cincinnati the Delegates visited the following college and universities:

  • Berea College
  • University of Kentucky
  • University of Cincinnati
  • University of Dayton
  • Wright State University
  • Xavier University
  • Northern Kentucky University

There were representatives from the national department of education as well as universities in cities around Ukraine.  Their long range goal is to connect with universities abroad to provide opportunities for Ukrainian students to study abroad and for Ukrainian professors to collaborate on research topics of mutual interest.  The Open World Executive Director Jane Sargus meet the delegates at the 30th Anniversary Celebration of CKSCP where the 4000 Open World Delegate was recognized.
